KK trip

Summary of KK trip:

9th: (Col,Saha,Alex,Lup,TJ) Arrive @ KK late, thx to delayed flight from AirAsia. Threw all the luggage @ lup's place, then rent a car & drove around town to make last minute purchases & bus tickets. Then went to One Borneo before calling a day off.

10th: (Col,Saha,Alex,TJ,YC,SY) took 10am bus from KK town. The bus origin head to Sandakan, cost us RM15 and drops us @ the entrance of KK park HQ. Check in & meet up with WYC & Sook Yee.

11th: (Col,Saha,Alex,TJ,YC,SY) meet up with our guide, started climb from timpohon gate @ 8am. Reached Laban Rata @ 1.50pm. Slept - Dinner - Slept

12th: (Col,Saha,Alex,TJ,YC) Woke up @ 12.30am. Meet up with our mountain Guide @ 1.30am. 5 of us then reached Ranger's hut @ 3.20am, then reached Low's peak @ 5.20, 5.40 & 5.45 am respectively. Took some pictures before heading down, back to laban rata @ 9am. Left Laban Rata after Breakfast, @ 10am, & reached Timpohon Gate @ 2pm. After lunch @ KK HQ, took a taxi back to Lup's place.

13th: (Everyone) Spend whole day doing laundry & sleep.

14th: (Everyone) Collins, Alex & I went fishing in the morning, while the rest of them went One Borneo for lunch. Then 3.30 meet up & rented 2 cars & drive around KK town, Signal Hill Observatory, Atkinson Clock Tower, Filipino market. Ended @ Damai, had porridge for dinner.

15th: (Everyone) Went to Gaya Street, a Weekly Sunday morning market alike. Then headed to Heritage (Cultural) Village, which is next to the Museum. Passed by Wild Life Park & Adventurous park before heading to Tanjung Aru beach (which is just beside AirAsia Terminal).

16th: (Col,Saha,Alex,TJ,YC,SY) Went water rafting. (Sadly no pictures), rained while we were on the speeboat, freeze to death.

17th: (Lup,Saha,Alex,TJ,YC,SY) Island hoping - Manukan & Sapi:

18th: (Everyone) Laundry Day

19th: (Col,Saha,Alex,TJ,YC) Depart to labuan. The island was so small, that you can even walk from one end of a town to the other within 20 minutes. Drove around the island, such as the chimney,Peace Park, Surrender Point, Labuan Square, and most important, Liqour..... muahaha, as result - everyone got drunk =P

20th: (Col,Saha,Alex,TJ,YC) Left Labuan @ 1pm, 3 hour journey while reach back KK town @ 4pm.

21st: (Col,Saha,Alex,TJ,YC, Lup) Cleaned lup's place & meet up with his GF. Depart to KL @ 9.15 flight.
