Cactus~

During March, i came across a store set-up in front of UPM library. Being so curious enough, they were setting up fund raising by selling cactus, in which the kind-hearted me took 3 cactus back home.


Some told me that from the Chinese point of view, having cactus in your room actually brings back luck. Cactus are suppose to be placed outside or even near the window ( coz they'll poke you), dunno which fella saw too much Lilian Thoo's series.... = =""


Few days back as i was having my final exam, my parents went to Cameron for some fresh air. In favour of taking care of the house for them, i asked mom to buy a few cactus from there, since it's cheap.

As they returned, they didn't buy a few, but instead 1 DOZEN....


1 dozen of cactus for what? It's not as though i can cook them for supper ( you might argue that they are really people who cook cactus, but not here ok)



Now, my table has 15 cactus, 1 was dead (coz some stupid fella crushed it), 1 from WieVien, and a dozen from mom. Dad even bought the racks for me.... lolz





I once joked to my friends, instead of flowers, i rather give cactus to my Girlfriend during valentines. The next response my friend gave was,


"SO-NOT romantic"

But i have my point ok. Cactus requires little attention, they only need watering once a week and also will blossom flowers (some). That's what i love most, little attention... lolz


P/s: Exam's over, will be going genting later in 8 hours time... Let my holidays begin.... =)
