Mother's DAy
So if everyday is Mother's Day, would you ever spend the extra pocket money, getting something special out of a day, like a treat for your mommy, or buy something special for her? Well, Mother's Day is just another ordinary days for me, because mom never allowed me to mess up her kitchen unnecessarily. There was once after spm, I tried making pasta for lunch, while she ended up doing the cleaning, lolz (coz i'm not the type that do the cleanings, even if i do, it won't be "clean" enough)
So oh well, tat saves a lot, at least she knows i love her very much, by giving her less cleaning to do... lolz
1 thing noticeable, most of the restaurants across town would definitely be fully packed... See~ told ya Food industries make the fastest route for $$$... And so, We got ourselves dinner at a very familiar restaurant - Restaurant Stadium Negara.
Why i mentioned familiar? My grandparents used to stay near Stadium Negara, being more precise, behind the police headquarters of Jln Hang Tuah. Secondly, the owner of the retaurant and my grandfather came from the same village from China lasttime, hence somehow related i guess. Thirdly, it wasn't my first visit there...
That answers why even if we didn't make an advanced reservation, we would never fail getting our tables and meals served right on time ><
Instead of using Gas stove (which is also available, depends on customer's choice), charcoal steamboat is a very traditional way of cooking. It consumes much more time(and cost a burden too), takes longer time to get things cooked, but in another way, many still believe that this method enriches the delicacy of the food. How? Don't ask me~ lolz anyone who mention my name to the boss when order will be entitled to 20% discount
Actually partly was a treat from my dad for my cousin (nehh, that cbn one la), who's leaving to Scotland to further her studies (lucky girl)...
Reminds me, i still owe Li Ting steamboat... Anyone interested???
