Starve all you want
**Shook my head
When it comes to culture, doubtless that M'sia is the ideal place. Though, when it comes to food...
"Thanks... but no THX"
i had enough of malay food in Uni. When i'm out, i DEMAND "Cha Siew", get it?
Personally, i have no objections when comes to "bulan Puasa" (you starve, your problem right?). i never understand how people could resist the temptation of not eating. If i were to starve for only 1 hour, kill me instead. Probably i had gastric problems before, hence somehow i understand how it felt when your tummy reaches the bottom, left with nothing but only acid juice (iewww...)
Alright, stalls are set-up by 12pm, when feasting begins only ermm.. 7pm? Sorry if i'm wrong, but it's not rational at all. By 3-4pm, everyone's going home (lazy bumms), while you can sense the hectic traffic jam everywhere. Even in Uni, stalls are closed during lunch hours (you bet!) and the only source of food is the old flat, where pork is served (Yum Yum)
And when you think it's over... Such nonsense people would even cook with the electric cooking pot (cook rice i know la, but frying eggs, meat n so..) during MIDNIGHT... Siao ar.. when everyone (non'muslims of course) trying hard to get their beauty sleep, you would hear noises (people shouting for food, the tempting sound of eggs being fried, people playing football there, etc), and smell the aroma of their food. Within minutes, my whole room is oilly, smooky and hungry~ Pity me la... i beg slap u all la...
An entire day without even a drop of water surely is suffering, at times i do pity my friends. Again, it's not me/us to complain about. I would not step up and accuse them for making such nonsense law, it's their rights and religion.
If i was given a choice, i would never come back to M'sia. Staying in NZ would be much better... Hmm, 2nd thought, i wouldn't want to live there too, no mamaks, nightmarkets, or even night outings for me anymore.. but that's not the point.
